The spirit of steam.
In Finland, the steam created by casting water onto hot stones is called löyly. It represents the vital element of the sauna, transferring heat directly to the skin.
The practice is built on a cycle of heat exposure followed by a cold plunge or cold air cooling. This contrast stimulates circulation, relaxes muscles, and encourages recovery. Taking time between cycles allows the heart rate to settle, returning the body to a state of balance.

FSC Sourced Timbers
We select premium FSC certified timber for our external and structural elements. Slow-grown and thermally modified wood provides maximum resistance to the UK climate without chemical treatment.

Bespoke Finishes
Bespoke options, including traditional Shou Sugi Ban charred cladding and reclaimed timber interior linings, are subject to consultation and separate custom pricing.
