Our structures are built to continue the traditional Nordic sauna practice. We treat the sauna as an architectural extension of the garden, using layout and materials to create a quiet, functional environment.
The transition between dry heat and cold air provides a clean physical response, relaxing muscles and clearing the mind. We pair FSC sourced cladding timbers with precision joinery and custom framing. Benches are contoured for comfort, and double-glazed safety glass panels secure the thermal seal.

Timber engineering and natural protection.
Our standard cladding uses Thermowood D (Thermally Modified Spruce or Pine) and premium Radiata Pine. Thermal modification cooks the timber at high temperatures, altering its cell structure to prevent warping, expansion, and decay.
This chemical-free process removes moisture and sugars, making the wood highly dimensionally stable and naturally durable.
We apply premium natural oils and satin paints to safeguard the wood. These finishes penetrate deeply, allowing the timber to breathe while protecting against UV fading and wet weather.
For Radiata Pine, we offer specialised translucent wood oils. For Thermowood, we offer beautiful solid satin paint finishes.
